Full Text Finder replacing LinkSource - 09/01/2015
When you search our discovery layer "LibSearch", you might see this in the list of results - Full Text Finder. This is the new link to finding full text articles in other databases when there are no PDF or HTML articles listed. It replaces this former link - Find Full Text on LinkSource. In addition to this change, the A-Z eJournal finder has changed its name and look, and now includes browsing by Subject Discipline. Check it out here - Publication Finder
Nursing or business student? You might want to take a look at these new databases for your classes:
The Library upgraded LibAnswers & LibChat over the Winter break. 2.0 provides better performance and increased options to get your questions answered. LibAnswers is a knowledge bank of previous questions that have been asked and answered. If you do not see one that matches your current question, feel free to submit a question and we will answer it. This is NOT for searching for topics for your assignments.
LibChat is also updated. Look for this chat button on our webpage or Libguides to speak with a Sinclair Librarian, or this one to chat with a librarian from Know-it-Now for 24/7 after hours help.
LibGuides 2.0 - 08/18/2014
The Library has changed its Libguides over to the new format that is being rolled-out by the vendor. Many of them are still very much under construction. Some new things is that they support tabbed search boxes; there is a newly reconstructed A-Z list of our databases; and there are many other things that are mostly behind the scenes.
Library Homepage Change - 08/11/2014
The Library changed it's homepage this week in order to present a more condensed, portal-like look. New featuers are the image (yes we are a physical place and not just a website), 4 blue boxes that highlight 4 of our most used services, and a multi-tabbed search box where you can search everything in our collection (Libsearch), or for just books, articles, or journal titles.
